How to Replace “Great Service” With a Specific Prospect Benefit
“Great service” sounds positive, but it doesn’t tell prospects what they’ll get. Nearly every agent can make the same claim. That gives a prospect little reason to remember it—or you.
In this workshop, you’ll turn that vague claim into a specific benefit based on something you actually do. The goal isn’t to make a bigger promise. It’s to make your value easier to understand.
By the end, you’ll have one Compelling Reason that can become part of your 12 Compelling Reasons To Do Business With You.
01By The End Of This Workshop
You’ll replace “great service” with one specific sentence that tells prospects what you do and why it helps them.
02What You'll Learn
- Why “great service” is easy to ignore
- How to turn an action into a prospect benefit
- How to draft one clearer Compelling Reason
03The Problem
A lot of real estate websites say the agent offers great service, personal attention, or extra care. Those phrases sound good, but they don’t give the prospect much useful information.
“Great service” is your opinion of your work. A prospect still has to wonder what you’ll do, when you’ll do it, and how it will help.
The phrase isn’t wrong. It’s incomplete. Until you explain the benefit, prospects can’t easily compare it, picture it, or remember it.
04The Simple Lesson
Replace the broad claim with a specific action and the benefit that action gives the client.
Use this simple pattern:
I [specific action] so you can [specific benefit].
The action explains what you do. The benefit answers the prospect’s question: “What is in it for me?”
For example, “I communicate often” is still broad. What does often mean? What information do you share? How does that help the client?
A clearer Compelling Reason might explain that you provide an update after every showing so the seller understands the feedback and can decide what to adjust before the next buyer arrives.
Specific doesn’t mean long. It means the prospect can tell what they’ll get.
05Real Estate Example
Imagine a seller comparing two agents. One website says:
“I provide great service from listing to closing.”
Another agent says:
“After every showing, I turn the buyer feedback into a short update so you know what buyers noticed and can decide what to adjust next.”
If that sentence matches how the agent works, it gives the seller something useful to consider. The seller can picture the action and understand the benefit.
The second agent hasn’t made a bigger promise. The agent has made the value easier to see.
06What This Means For Your Marketing
Each of your 12 Compelling Reasons To Do Business With You should help prospects understand a real benefit. Broad praise such as “great service” gives them little to remember.
A specific Compelling Reason gives your website, emails, social posts, and presentations a stronger message to repeat.
Virtually Branded Scenes can pair that message with your actual website and Visual Social Proof. Spaced Repetition can then help prospects see and remember the benefit over time.
The image helps make your website recognizable. The specific benefit gives prospects a meaningful reason to remember why they might choose you.
075-Minute Action Step
Write this sentence:
I provide great service.
Under it, complete this version:
I [specific action] so you can [specific benefit].
Name something you really do. Then explain how it helps the client understand, prepare, decide, or stay informed.
Remove the words “great service” and read the new sentence out loud. If a prospect can clearly tell what they’ll get—and the sentence matches your actual work—you have the start of a Compelling Reason.
Five minutes is the goal, not a cutoff. Take a little extra time if more research or thought will improve your result.
08Your Result
You now have a specific prospect benefit that is easier to understand, support, and remember than “great service” alone.
09Put It To Work
One clearer Compelling Reason is a useful start. The next step is to find and strengthen the other reasons prospects should choose you.
Once you have your 12 Compelling Reasons To Do Business With You, you can place them on your website and turn them into a 12-week recognition campaign using 12 Virtually Branded Scenes.
